I need sanity

I'm growing weary of the mob lately and I just wanted to see if I was the only person left in the country that still wants to wait the recession out before calling for Obama's impreachment. Obama doesn't do a bad job, he's trying to clean up a huge mess our country has gotten itself into. People seem to forget that we are in the middle of a crisis, and this crisis has started before Obama was in office. Some people have gotten crazy over it, all but suggesting that it was Obama that started the war in Iraq or it was Obama that caused the recession.   Then there's conspiracy theories, there's the Birthers and the people that say that Obama is Hitler and is going to round up all the white people into death camps. People acutally believe this stuff! And even if you decide to stick it out with the current presidency, even if you want to wait a couple years before making such rash idiotic opinions, you are a "Obama Supporter" and a "sissy bleeding heart liberal" not worth listening to. There is no middle ground anymore, it's all about extremes.    I don't care who's in office anymore and what people are saying about him, I just want the United States to survive inspite of this madness. The world has gone mad!

People have short memories.
President Obama inherited the worst economy since the 1930s, and people have forgotten just how terrifying things were one short year ago. The economy was in recession for two full years after Reagan took office, and the economy was weak for the first two years of Clinton's term. Considering what President Obama inherited, the early signs of economic recovery we're now seeing are practically a miracle.

Yes, I am disappointed that Obama is willing to cave to the likes of Joe Liebermann on issues like health care, and that he's taking his time addressing LGBT issues (both likely on the advice of Rahm Emmanuel), but I'd vote for him over the Republican candidate anyday!
